Grooming times vary depending on multiple factors like breed, coat length, and type of grooming service. Critical factors like drying can take from 15 minutes up to 2-3 hours. We’ll call you once your pet is ready, please don’t arrive unannounced.

Does the rush fee guarantee completion within an hour?

No, the rush fee prioritizes your pet. Grooming duration varies based on breed. weight, coat length, and pet cooperation. We’ll provide an estimated pick-up time at check-in.

Is a rush fee available for Grooming?

Yes, for an extra $15 per pet, you can move your pet to the front of the grooming queue.

Horrible experience. NO CAMERAS IN WASHING AREA. The owner said their employee's actions were "stupid" but won't explain what happened. Our dog does not get nervous. SOMETHING happened but they won't fess up. Even our vet said the injuries don't match the explanation this "salon" gave us. Then I get an email from their attorney. Guess they'll have to tell us in discovery.

I was very skeptical at first because I don’t trust just any groomer (I’ve had some bad experiences). Took a leap of faith and gave my pup some of her anxiety meds and they did a great job. I have been going about a year now and have yet to hear about her terrorizing anyone. I always get a super short cut since she hates for me to brush her and can get matted pretty quick. They do such a great job in my crazy/anxious 5 y/o shih tzu. 9/10 able to get her in last minute and very quick.Definitely recommend!

Today was my first time coming in for my two Shih Tzu’s, I recently adopted these two and had to cut their hair on my own due to the matting. I decided to bring them in and I am extremely happy with the results. They look so nice and smell so good. I love how they paid attention to the details that I asked of them and even adding a cute valentines bandana and bow. Love it thanks guys!

Highly recommend!!! This is our first trip leaving our dog Ace with a boarding facility, but with over 40 years of pets and doing so at different locations all over Houston, this has been the best experience. Friendly staff, good communication, love the camera access seeing our dog playing with others, and our best groom to date. The fact that my dog came home exhausted confirms that my dog was not cooped up in a kennel all day but got plenty of play time and exercise. I love the fact that they do a temperament test to determine the best other dogs to play with during the stay because we all know all dogs are not the same. In just 6 months we have used 4 other groomers but their groomer has done the best job. My wife is super picky and loved the way it turned out, even our neighbors asked who we used because it was such a good job. I will definitely be back for boarding and this will be our groomer for the future. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for boarding, daycare, or grooming services.

I've been bringing my doodle here for a long time now. I didn't like how they keep the dogs in cages until it is their turn to get groomed without letting them out to potty at all. I've always paid an extra rush fee so that he doesn't have to be in a cage for hours and I would come pick him up right away when he was finished getting groomed. This morning I went to take him to get groomed again and he instantly started shaking when we walked in the door and was doing everything he could to get out of the door every time it opened. He was heavily panting and you could just tell he was TERRIFIED. I truly have the most laid back and gentle doodle ever.. I have never seen him act that way. He is always so excited to see Francie (who we do love). The guy at the front (owner) came to take him back and my dog went behind my legs and would not go at all - climbing me to get in my arms. I ended up leaving and we didn't get groomed because it was very clear something happened to him to make him so terrified. It makes me sad to think I will never know what exactly happened, but I know that I can't take him back to this place. My dog has NEVER been scared to go to the groomers and this is just a very disappointing experience.

The Dog House Salon has been the only place I take my pets for grooming and daycare. The groomers always listen to how I want my pets to look and she has never missed. I love them. We have been going for over a year now.

I had wrote a past review and they deleted it. I've been coming here for the past 6 years with five different dogs and last week I took my dogs and the guy up front always gives me an attitude. I always decide to ignore him and talk to the groomer but this time around I had to defend myself and ask him why was he talking to me in a very rude way he took it very personal screamed at me and told me to get out! I asked him if he was the owners and if that's the way he treated customers and he said yes I am the owner and you disrespected me. Just because I told him he was giving me an attitude. I have referred multiple people to this location and they have complained about the same guy and they have also had an encounter with him. He has never told them to get out like he did with me since I'm a woman he felt Superior. It looks like he does this all the time, multiple clients from past reviews have complained about the same issue. If he's not happy serving clients he should hire somebody else to do the customer service up front . He yelled at me and cursed. If I did not have somebody live close to the area to drop off my dogs I would have probably had to go home and drop off my dogs and be late for work. So be careful with that guy he is obviously famous with this behavior.

I had an amazing experience here, i got my golden doodle a full groom and he looks amazing, they did such a great job. The gentleman at the front were very pleasant. I live about 40min from this facility but it is worth it and i will definitely be back!
