What overnight boarding looks like
Boarding here is more than a place to sleep. Dogs stay in climate-controlled private suites furnished with elevated, padded beds, plus a minimum of four play periods a day at no extra charge. Each play period includes time outside in our dog park, with a naptime from 12 PM to 2 PM to keep everyone refreshed, and our staff keeps an eye on your dog throughout the stay.
For flat-nosed breeds, or during a Houston heat wave, we shorten outdoor sessions to 5 to 10 minutes at a stretch to keep every dog safe. Once your dog is introduced to a playgroup, they stay with that same group for the rest of the stay — that consistency helps them build social skills, make friends and settle into a routine.
Accommodations & what's included
We offer a range of suites so you can match the room to your dog's size and your budget. Our Galleria location also has our largest luxury options:
| Suite | Room size | Rate / night |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Suite | 3' × 3' | $40 |
| Standard + Suite | 5' × 3' | $50 |
| The Hideaway | 5' × 5' | $55 |
| The Post Oak (Galleria only) | 6' × 6' | $55 |
| The Richmond / The Westheimer (Galleria only) | 7' × 7' | $55 |
| Penthouse Suite | 15' × 12' | $65 |
Every stay includes the four daily play periods, elevated padded bedding and free daycare. We keep your dog looking their best while they're with us, too.
Pricing & deposit
Boarding starts at $40 per night for a Standard Suite and ranges up to $65 for our Penthouse Suite. Daycare is included free with every boarding stay. A $25 deposit per pet is required at booking to hold the reservation, and the balance is due at pickup.
There's no minimum stay — your dog is welcome for as little as one night. Pricing and policies are subject to change; see our cancellation policy for deposit and no-show details.
Before the first stay
What to bring: your dog's usual food (we're happy to feed their regular diet), any medications with instructions, and a familiar comfort item if it helps them relax.
- Request a stay on our appointment form or call (713) 820-6140. Same-day and walk-in boarding are welcome too — an appointment is preferred but not required.
- Send current vaccination records. They're required at initial intake, and emailing them ahead makes check-in fastest.
- Settle in. On the first visit your dog completes a one-time $25 temperament assessment so we can place them in the right playgroup, then we get them comfortable in their suite.
Health & safety
For boarding, every dog must have current Bordetella (Kennel Cough), Distemper and Rabies vaccinations. The Influenza vaccine is not required but is highly recommended for added protection. We can only accept vaccinations verified by a licensed or registered third party.
The one-time $25 temperament assessment confirms a dog isn't toy-, water- or food-aggressive and checks how they respond to our staff and to other dogs. It's how we place each dog in the right playgroup — not a pass/fail test. Suites are climate-controlled and dogs are supervised throughout their stay.
Will my dog be okay?
First-time boarding can be as nerve-racking for the owner as for the dog. That's why we keep dogs busy and social during the day, let them rest on a schedule, and keep playgroups consistent — a familiar group is a calmer group. Our Galleria facility is also equipped with webcams, so you can check in and watch your dog through the free LTS-Connect app from anywhere, anytime.
Stays for every reason
Dogs board with us for all kinds of reasons — a week's vacation, a work trip, a family event or the holidays. Whatever brings you in, the care is the same: a comfortable suite, daily play and attention from a team that knows your dog by name. With no minimum stay, a single night is just as welcome as a long trip.
Pair with grooming & daycare
Because grooming and boarding share the same address, you can add a bath or full groom so your dog comes home clean and fresh instead of smelling like a kennel. Daycare is already included with every boarding stay, so your dog's days are full of play whether they're here for one night or ten.
Why Galleria & Uptown Park families choose us
We're right on Richmond Ave, minutes from the Galleria Mall and the Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park, and convenient to Uptown Park, River Oaks, Bellaire and Montrose. Families in this part of Houston choose us because boarding, daycare, grooming and bathing all live under one roof, with master groomers on site and more than 30 years of caring for Houston's dogs, with over 50,000 pets groomed.
