A day at daycare
Our daycare is built around play, sunshine and rest in a cage-free environment with penthouse suites, soothing sounds and toys. Through the day, dogs enjoy up to four outdoor rotations lasting about 45 minutes to an hour each, depending on the weather. For flat-nosed breeds, or during a Houston heat wave, we keep each outdoor session to 5 to 10 minutes for safety.
Between rotations there's downtime to rest and recharge, and trained staff supervise every session. Once your dog joins a playgroup they stay with that same group — that's how friendships and good manners get built.
Who daycare is for
Daycare suits social dogs who love company, high-energy dogs who need to move and working pet parents who'd rather not leave their dog home alone all day. We also welcome dogs with special needs — senior dogs, dogs with medical conditions and anxious pets — and we tailor the day to them. Just tell us what your dog needs at check-in.
Play groups & supervision
Trained staff supervise every play session, and dogs are grouped by size and temperament. We use separate, secure, covered play yards — and separate daycare rooms — so a small, gentle dog isn't mixed in with a big, boisterous one. The goal is a safer, more enjoyable day for every dog.
Getting started (the evaluation)
- Book a first visit on our appointment form or call (713) 820-6140. Same-day and walk-in days are welcome too — an appointment is preferred but not required.
- Bring current vaccination records. They're required at initial intake (vaccines listed below).
- Complete the one-time $25 temperament assessment. This is our evaluation: it confirms your dog isn't toy-, water- or food-aggressive and checks how they behave toward our staff and other dogs. We use the result to place your dog in the right playgroup by size and temperament — it's for group placement, not a pass/fail gate.
Requirements
For daycare, dogs must have current Bordetella (Kennel Cough), Distemper and Rabies vaccinations. Influenza is recommended but not required. Current records are needed at initial intake, and we accept only vaccinations verified by a licensed or registered third party.
Day passes & pricing
Choose the option that fits your schedule — the more days you buy, the more free days your dog earns:
| Option | Price | Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Daily rate | $20 / day | — |
| 10-Day Pass | $180 | 1 day free |
| 20-Day Pass | $340 | 3 days free |
Daycare or boarding?
Not sure which your dog needs? Daycare is for the day — play, socialize and come home tired. Boarding is for overnight and longer stays, and daycare is already included free with every boarding stay. If you're traveling, see our dog boarding in the Galleria / Uptown Park area.
Add grooming
Grooming lives at the same address, so you can add a bath or groom on a daycare day and your dog goes home clean. Just tell us your preferred pickup time at check-in so we can fit grooming around playtime.
Why Galleria & Uptown Park families choose us
We're on Richmond Ave, minutes from the Galleria Mall and the Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park, and easy to reach from Uptown Park, River Oaks, Bellaire and Montrose. Families here choose us because daycare, boarding, grooming and bathing are all under one roof, run by a team with more than 30 years of experience and over 50,000 pets groomed.
