A day at daycare
Daycare here is play, sunshine and rest in a cage-free environment with penthouse suites, soothing sounds and toys. Dogs enjoy up to four outdoor rotations a day, about 45 minutes to an hour each depending on the weather, with downtime to recharge in between. For flat-nosed breeds, or during a Houston heat wave, we keep outdoor sessions to 5 to 10 minutes for safety.
Trained staff supervise every session, and once your dog joins a playgroup they stay with that same group so friendships and good manners have time to grow.
Who daycare is for
Daycare is a great fit for social dogs, high-energy dogs who need to move and pet parents who work long days. We also welcome special-needs dogs — seniors, dogs with medical conditions and anxious pets — and tailor the day to them. Tell us what your dog needs at check-in.
Play groups & supervision
Trained staff supervise every session, and dogs play in groups matched by size and temperament. We use separate, secure, covered play yards and separate daycare rooms so every dog has a safe, comfortable place to play.
Getting started (the evaluation)
- Book a first visit on our appointment form or call (713) 820-6140. Same-day and walk-in days are welcome too — an appointment is preferred but not required.
- Bring current vaccination records. They're required at initial intake.
- Complete the one-time $25 temperament assessment. This is our evaluation: it confirms your dog isn't toy-, water- or food-aggressive and checks how they behave toward staff and other dogs, so we can place them in the right playgroup — it's for group placement, not a pass/fail gate.
Requirements
For daycare, dogs need current Bordetella (Kennel Cough), Distemper and Rabies vaccinations; Influenza is recommended. Records are required at initial intake, and we accept only vaccinations verified by a licensed or registered third party.
Day passes & pricing
The more days you buy, the more free days your dog earns:
| Option | Price | Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Daily rate | $20 / day | — |
| 10-Day Pass | $180 | 1 day free |
| 20-Day Pass | $340 | 3 days free |
Daycare or boarding?
Daycare is for the day; boarding is for overnight and longer. Daycare is already included free with every boarding stay, so if you're traveling, see our dog boarding near Memorial Park.
Add grooming
Grooming is at the same address, so add a bath or groom on a daycare day and your dog goes home clean. Tell us your preferred pickup time at check-in.
Why Memorial Park families choose us
